Wednesdays 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Who is Michael Hingston?

Michael Hingston's work has appeared in many newspapers and magazines. His first book, The Dilettantes, was published in 2013. This year, he made the regional bestseller list with his new book Let's Go Exploring, an examination of the Calvin and Hobbes comic strip. Hingston is also the co-founder of Hinston & Olsen Publishing, home of the Short Story Advent Calendar.

What is the Metro Writer in Residence program?

The Writer in Residence program is a joint project, shared by four libraries in the Metro Edmonton area: St. Albert Public Library, Strathcona County Library, Fort Saskatchewan Public Library and Edmonton Public Library. We are excited to welcome Michael Hingston (regional) and Darrin Hagen (EPL) as our writers in residence for 2018.
